Blue Iceberg Partners Speak at Insurance and Financial Communications Association (IFCA) 2011 Conference.

NASHVILLE, TN - Blue Iceberg cofounders Richard Cacciato and Natalie Yates traveled to the Insurance and Financial Communications Association (IFCA) to speak at its 2011 Conference October 2-5, 2011. 

Richard presented a workshop, speaking on the topic of "Changing Direction." He focused on how new media has changed the landscape of marketing communications, giving marketers an unprecedented ability to establish a two-way conversation with its audience. 

In his insightful one-hour workshop, Richard shared ideas on how to evaluate and allocate the right resources for pursuing social media without losing sight of the value of print media. He discussed problem apps and budget. This workshop was repeated later on in the conference.

Through Natalie’s talk, Words That Work: Business Writing for the Web, she reinforced the value of rigorous planning and tone and style selection when it comes to content development for the web. Her one-hour workshop focused on key differences between writing for interactive communications versus traditional media, and she gave useful tips on how the experienced business writer can sharpen his or her skills to create more effective user experiences in digital projects.
